Most eyelash extensions applied in the salon usually last between two and four weeks. This takes into account that some eyelashes will fall out prematurely, especially in the first few days. Generally speaking, you can get away with wearing false eyelashes for up to five days. After that, the eyelashes will begin to lose their shape and may come off the natural eyelashes.
Eyelash glue is an essential part of keeping false eyelashes attached to the eyelids, but in this case, less is more. If you use too much glue, you can make your eyelashes brittle and even fall out. The adhesive eyelash glue used to fix false eyelashes can weaken natural eyelashes if used for long periods of time. So you want big, fluffy and dramatic lashes? You're going to have to look beyond the mask tube and focus on fakes.
First, soak a cotton swab in an oil-based makeup remover (like this one) and run the swab along the lash line to remove the glue. The best place to leave false eyelashes overnight is in a safe box, for example, in their original packaging. But don't let the name confuse you, individual eyelashes are actually a group of single-eyelash hairs (about five to ten) that have stuck together.
